University selects a section of the Wooded Hillock and Parking Lot 4i to house current East Campus facilities
To make way for the new mixed use town center to be constructed on the East Campus, the University has selected Parking Lot 4i and a portion of the wooded hillock west of the Comcast Center to accept the University support facilities currently located on the East Campus. The following materials are provided to help better understand this decision.
  1. The document titled Relocation of East Campus Facilities / Wooded Hillock Relocation, March 20, 2009 provided a summary of how this decision was reached and what the impact is of this decision on the University’s tree canopy.


  2. The document titled East Campus Redevelopment Project, Sustainability Perspectives dated March 19, 2009, provides a summary of the environmental benefits and concerns associated with utilizing the wooded hillock west of Comcast Center and makes recommendations for the University’s consideration.


  3. The last document is a conceptual site plan for the wooded hillock titled Wooded Hillock Site Plan – 12-11-2008.
