| M Square, the University of Maryland Enterprise Campus, a new
University-sponsored mixed-use research park, is planned to be a
distinctive world-class precinct within the State of Maryland.
The 124-acre site is located adjacent to the University and to the
College Park Metro Station. |  |
When completed, M Square will be
the largest university-related
research park in the region,
consisting of 2.5 million square feet
of public and private research,
office and incubator space, and will
support 6,500 jobs. It will have a
powerful impact on economic
development within the region.
The proximity of the University’s
main campus and the proposed
East Campus town center will
provide valuable services and
amenities to M Square and will
stimulate interaction between the
sites.
